Hello Annaïck, this winter you are taking on the management of Hôtel de La Loze, right in the heart of Courchevel 1850.
Could you tell us about your career path so far?
I have now been working in Courchevel for 26 years, a resort that, over the years, has become much more than just a place of work: it is here that I have built both my professional and personal journey, season after season.
I began my career at the Tourist Office, a first immersion into the heart of the resort and its vibrant energy. Later, I had the opportunity to manage Courchevel Agence, the resort’s historic real estate agency, founded by Mr. and Mrs. Fenestraz. It was a formative experience, rich in encounters and learning.
I then continued my path in the world of luxury hospitality, taking on the management of Hôtel des Suites de la Potinière, followed by Hôtel des Trois Vallées. Each property allowed me to refine my vision of hospitality, excellence, and guest experience, values that are at the very heart of Courchevel.
Today, I am delighted to take on the management of Hôtel de La Loze, an iconic establishment also created by Mr. and Mrs. Fenestraz. There is both a sense of natural continuity and deep emotion in returning to work with the Fenestraz family, it feels as though the circle has come full.
It is a beautiful continuity in my journey, but also a new chapter that I embrace with enthusiasm and passion.
What appeals to you about working in a Chalet Hotel in a ski resort, and more specifically at Hôtel de La Loze in Courchevel?
What attracts me to working in a chalet-hotel in a ski resort is above all the warm and intimate atmosphere that can be created there. At Hôtel de La Loze, we are not in a standardized establishment: we are in an authentic, elegant place with a true soul. That is exactly what I love.
Here, I see myself more as a Maîtresse de Maison than as a director in the traditional sense of the word. I enjoy this genuine closeness with our guests, the attention to detail, and this almost family-like sense of hospitality.
It is also very symbolic for me to return to La Loze, created by Mr. and Mrs. Fenestraz. There is something deeply coherent, almost emotional, about this new chapter.
What can our guests look forward to this season?
This season, our guests can look forward to an authentic and warm experience, far beyond a simple hotel stay. My aim is to turn every moment into a convivial experience, where one feels at home from the very first arrival.
In short, our guests will enjoy a refined and personal interlude, guided by my commitment to embody the spirit of a Maîtresse de Maison: caring, present, attentive to detail, and always available to make their stay truly memorable.
To conclude, do you have a personal message you would like to share with our guests?
What I wish to say to our guests is quite simply: welcome home.
Whether you are a loyal regular or discovering La Loze for the very first time, we do everything to ensure you feel here as if in a family home, elegant, gentle, and welcoming.
I am truly delighted to open this new season with you, in a place that touches me deeply. Hôtel de La Loze is not just another hotel: it is a place of heart, a place of life, a place with a soul.
